Days 3,4,5

I don't have any pictures from those days. I should have dug the camera out of the suitcase, but it was buried, really cold outside, snowing (A LOT) and it somehow didn't seem worth the effort : >

Day three we left Illinois and heading into Iowa. Got to Iowa City and was informed by a very nice Highway Patrol officer that the 'smart' thing for us to do was to get a motel room two exits down, and hunker down for the rest of the day. We took her advice. Smart thing!

Day four, it was amazing to see all the cars off the side of the road! AND it was pretty slow driving for the first 80 miles over snow packed roads. Once we hit Des Moines the roads cleared and we were on our way! We got 3/4 of the way through Nebraska. Near the home of Cabella's but it was too late and the store was closed. So we went in to town (???) for some Mexican food. Nice : >

Day five we finished the trip. Man it was nice to be in Utah! The birds were sure happy to be finished as well! A few days to rest and then all the furniture showed up!

Now I'm back in Boston, finishing up my company move (move done today!) I head back to Utah for good in another week!!! YEA : >. I miss my sweetie, but will see him very soon...
